Mr S Moore taking the Native Longwool Pairs Championship with his pair of Wensleydale lambs whilst in the RBST Classes Mr Allan Duffield very succesfully won both the Group of Three class and the Interbreed Group of Three Championship. One of the final shows of the season and the final one holding Wensleydale Breed classes, judge Sir Gary Verity found his Overall champion (and female champion) in Mrs Julie Pennells’ Gimmer lamb. A damp day at Nidderdale saw a good show of Wensleydales on Monday 25th September 2017 with 6 different breeders entered giving judge Mr John Prescott a good selection of sheep to choose amongst.
