ANNUAL SHOW & SALE OF WENSLEYDALE SHEEP At the 133rd Annual Show and Sale of Wensleydale Longwool Sheep held on behalf of the Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeders Association The females met a solid demand with the top a shearling gimmer at 340gns from Messrs Harrison Spinks of Tadcaster and a 2 shear Ewe from Laura Beaton at the same price. Ram trade, expected to be selective saw a top of 440gns from JA&F Elliott (Providence) selling to Nick Oliver. Full report to follow.
