The 2023 WLSBA AGM will be held on Saturday 13th May 2023 at the Garden Room, Tennants, Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Lunch will be available from 1pm with the meeting starting at 2pm.
The AGM will also be available to members via Zoom as a Hybrid format similar to 2022 and the Agenda and Minutes will be sent out in due course.
We invite nominations for Council – There are seven members of Council due to retire this year and are eligible to stand again– E. L Sherwin, M. A. Elliott, S. Leech, S. Holdich, J. McHardy, D. Ford and G. Steventon
However, there are also several free seats and new members are always very welcome.
If you wish to stand please submit a nomination form. Election is by postal ballot under conditions agreed by Council.
To be valid nominations must be received by the Secretary 42 days prior to the Annual General Meeting (by 25th March). Nominations should be accompanied by a candidate profile of not more than sixty words, including experience they would bring to the role. In the event of a ballot being required if nominations exceed places, profiles will be circulated to the membership for a full postal vote.
