On the 30th of October 2024, after 8 years as our brilliant and dedicated secretary, Anna Pennell resigned from the role. We wish her the very best of luck with her new challenges as well as with her growing/successful farm business and are delighted that she has agreed to remain on the WLSBA council.
We would also like to introduce our new secretary, Jodi Shadforth. Many of you may have come across Jodi over the last few years, however for those of you that have yet to meet her, she has been a member of the WLSBA since she got her first Wensleydales in 2018, founding the Amerston flock. Anna will be a very tough act to follow but we are sure that Jodi will do the role justice as she comes to grips with it all over the coming months. Please do not hesitate to contact her with any queries, interesting news for the website, or even just to say hello.

It is an exciting time of year, carefully selecting ewe and ram combinations and preparing to welcome another generation of Wensleydales into the world. Hopefully many of you have Wensleydale rams working hard out in the field as we speak, with more being turned out in the coming weeks. Fingers crossed for a kinder Autumn/Winter than last year!
