It was a tremendous show of Wensleydales at the 2018 160th Great Yorkshire Show with 9 exhibitors including from the newly formed Carlton Towers, Beaumont FLock. It is great to see new faces joining in and other young flocks growing and expanding.
Well done to Pete and Nicki Hodkinson at the Great Yorkshire today taking Female and Overall Champion with a Hogg in Wool gimmer after a strong show of Wensleydales today. Judged by Mrs Barbara Metcalfe the results were as follows;

Congratulations also must go to Laura Beaton who won a very strong RBST Young Handlers class with her Wensleydale Lamb and Ernie Sherwin whose Hogg in Wool won not only the Longwool Wool of the Hoof section but took the Overall Wool on the Hoof Championship! A great few days for the breed.
