HUGE congratulations to John and Shelagh Prescott who not only took Champion and Reserve Wensleydale at Melton Mowbray pre-sale show on Friday 9th September, they also took the Overall Sheep Interbreed as well as the Best Animal on the field beating both the Pig and Cattle Champion.

The sale of sheep held the next day was a touch sticky particularly for rams; highlights include the sale of C A Coe Ram lamb for 600gns and the Black Wensleydale Shearling Ram from S & J Prescott for 400gns. A full sales analysis will follow from the mart.
