Member Benefits
The Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeders’ Associatian is a friendly and helpful Association; more than anything, becoming a member brings with it a network of breeders that strive to better the national flock, encourage the joy of showing and above all share a mutual love of our stunning breed. Other benefits of membership include:
– An annual copy of all births in the year via the flock book, showing flocks and breeders who continue to maintain the breeds unique genetics
– An online database that will give you any registered animal’s history and lineage, together with flock and members details so that you can research your animals’ genetics or look for breeders throughout the UK
– Regular newsletters
– Workshop days and events
– An easy method of registering sheep online
– Dedicated breed classes and rosettes for agricultural shows
Membership Fees
If you would like to join the Association to support our work or register your pedigree Wensleydale lambs, you can either download a form, submit your application online or request a paper copy from the Breed Secretary. Please include the relevant payment according to the membership option you choose either via BACS or cheque. If you have any questions or would like a paper copy of the form, please get in touch
UK membership (including Northern Ireland) is £35
Overseas (including Southern Ireland) is £45
Junior membership is £10
