Opening weekend

Wensleydale Sheep: A Handcrafted History- A Travelling Exhibition – showcasing the finest handcrafted items made from luxurious Wensleydale wool kicked off its first stage on Sunday at The Handweavers Studio and Gallery, London this weekend (12th October) and runs to 6th December.

This exhibition really meets all expectations; a heartwarming journey into the world of exceptional craftsmanship, where tradition meets creativity writes Ali Parsons.

The rich heritage of Wensleydale wool is really brought to life with 40 exhibitors and each piece tells a unique story, reflecting the passion and skill that goes into working with this exceptional wool.

For one day only at yesterday’s preview event; even some Wensleydale Sheep joined the show! Thanks to Susan Holdich and her Millhouse flock for coming along.

Huge thankyou to all the Wool group who have worked so hard on this and the wonderful curation at the gallery by member Lois Gardner

Definitely worth a visit!
