Ripley Show saw a grand show of Wensleydales this year in the beautiful lake-side setting; sheep entries were very strong in nearly all sections and the Wensleydales didn’t disappoint with 6 exhibitors bringing their sheep forward for judge Mrs A Shepherd, Harrogate.
Mr Ernie Sherwin saw off strong competiton once again to take Breed Champion and Male Champion with his Shearling ram as well as Female Champion with his Shearling Ewe. Mr Sherwin’s Shearling Ewe also went on to take Interbreed Reserve Female Champion.
