The British Wool Marketing Board Producers guide has been landing with our members recently and those who sell to the BWMB will have seen that the Wensleydale fleeces are topping the list once again selling for £6/kg.
This is a big increase from £4.40/kg from last year and great to see the high demand for Wensleydale fleece being recognised by the BWMB for our members.
With an average fleece weighing around 4kg that makes every fleece worth approximately £24 to the BWMB.
