ANNUAL SHOW & SALE OF WENSLEYDALE SHEEP
At the 131st Annual Show and Sale of Wensleydale Longwool Sheep held on behalf of the Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeders Association turned plenty of purchasers and on lookers today at the sale with the quality selling very well. Top price sold to 680gns for an aged Tup from JA&F Elliot. Shearling tups sold well with £500+ for several tups from E.L Sherwin for some strong big nice skinned tups. Strong ewes met a competitive ringside of purchasers too. Gimmer lambs and tup lambs sold either side of 100gns with the best goods selling either side of 200gns.
