Well done to all the exhibitors on a marvellous turnout of sheep at today’s Wensleydale Agricultural Show at Leyburn. The judge was renowned Teeswater breeder Ernest Bainbridge of Marrick Abbey near Richmond and the results were as follows:

Champion was the shearling ram. Reserve champion the shearling ewe. Both from EL Sherwin.
The champion went on to be overall reserve in the interbreed championship. A great achievement!
Also pictured is the first prize lamb which was awarded reserve champion prize in the local interbreed lamb competition.
