The NS National Young Starts competition is open for entries once again, held at Three Counties Showground on August 20/21st and full details can be found here http://nationalyoungstars.com/competitors/ Teams of 3 (8-26 with one under 18 year old) compete in sections, it would be fantastic to get a Wensleydale team together to enter the Untrimmed

The WLSBA has published a new “Showing your Wensleydale Sheep” guide kindly written by Professor Agnes Winter FRCVS It can  be found on the website here Covering best recommended practise for the optimum health of your Wensleydale Sheep pre/during and post showing.

The Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeders’ Association held their annual AGM on Saturday 13th April at the Tempest Arms, Skipton. The meeting was chaired by WLSBA President the Hon. Dame Susan Cunliffe-Lister and was concluded by a very interesting and informative talk from the current Master Woolman, Mr Andrew Dawson from the Worshipful Company of Woolmen.

We are looking forward to having our Breed Stand and sheep at this event this summer – put the date in your diary and come see us!
